Lila mayor lifts granular lockdown on barangay Cayupo

Lila mayor Arturo Jed Piollo announced on Thursday, June 24, 2021, that he already lifted the granular lockdown on barangay Cayupo, according to a post by the mayor on Thursday.

The mayor said he made the decision to lift the lockdown following the recommendation of the Municipal Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) and due to the fact that the spread of Coronavirus disease in the said area has been contained.

Despite the lifting of the granular lockdown, he reminded his constituents to follow the health and safety protocol as the number of active cases in the town remains high.

Moreover, he urged the people of Lila town to get inoculated as soon as they are able.

As of Thursday, June 24, 2021, the town has 18 active Covid cases.
