194 Tagb, SK TUPAD beneficiaries get their wages

A total of 194 beneficiaries from Tagbilaran City and the Sangguniang Kabataan of the Province of Bohol were received their respective salaries under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at the Dao Covered Court on Friday, July 2, 2021, reports say.
Gov. Arthur Yap and Vice Governor Rene Relampagos, Cong. Edgar Chatto, and Tagbilaran City mayor John Geesnell Yap were on hand during the payout of wages to the TUPAD beneficiaries.
In July 2020, Malacañang approved the request from Gov. Yap to subsidize a budget for the province under the TUPAD program as an intervention for the displaced and underemployed workers in the informal sectors in Bohol.
