Gov. Arthur Yap and Engr. Albert Uy of the business group on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, received Bohol’s first package of vaccines that procured through the initiative of a private business group, according to a report of the Provincial Information and Media Relations (PRIMER).

The package contains 2,482 doses of Sinovac vaccine that will be administered to the essential workers and economic frontliners in the private sector.

This first private initiative in the procurement of vaccines for Bohol is facilitated via the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FCCCII), the report adds.

As other areas in the country would get the vaccine from the FCCCII, the governor also facilitated the fast transport of Bohol’s share of the vaccines.

The vaccine was received by the governor and Uy and some other members of the local Filipino-Chinese chamber of commerce , the report reveals.

Meanwhile, the vaccination rollout for the economic frontliners/essential workers will be done at the Bohol Wisdom School on Friday, July 9, 2021.
