Buenavista mayor says Gov Yap is right that the next 2 weeks are critical in controlling the spread of Covid infection

Buenavista mayor Dave Duallo says Gov. Arthur Yap is right that the next couple of weeks is critical as the local government units (LGU) strictly implement the protocol in an effort to contain the spread of the virus causing the Coronavirus disease (Covid), a report from the Provincisl Information and Media Relations (PRIMER) office says.

The result of the strict implementation of the protocol by the various LGU will be the basis for the next steps that will be taken by the Capitol as far as containing the spread of the Covid virus is concerned, the same report adds.

Duallo said that the mayors agree with the reasons the number of Covid cases in Bohol has surged.

The report further revealed that the relaxed implementation of the protocol by the LGU has been pointed as the main reason for the surge of cases.

Duallo said that it is correct to discourage the practice of home quarantine for those who tested positive for Covid, the report says.
