All You Need to Know About Tooth Extraction 

(Part 6)

In case you have a decayed tooth that is broken, chipped, or fractured, it is best to see your dentist as soon as possible.

The dentist will perform a procedure to have the tooth filled inand taken care of so that it doesn’t break apart.

The same thing will be done if your tooth is decayed or has cavities.

Otherwise, your tooth can get be damaged further which may lead to infection. This could mean outright removal of the tooth otherwise it may die and just fall off from your mouth.

Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the ways to take care of your teeth and ensure that you would not get cavities.

Of course eat less sugary foods and have a balanced meal to help bring about healthy teeth.

A person should ensure proper oral hygiene for the prevention of cavities so the tooth may not be broken. 

Make sure you are able to visit your dentist at least twice a year to ensure proper care of your tooth so that it will not break or get cavities.

In case of a broken tooth,  it is best to check for possible acute myeloid leukemia (AML) right after diagnosis of tooth breakage. Find out if you have AML so you can get the proper treatment.

If the broken tooth is painful, you may get some pain medications that can be bought over the counter.

You can also relieve the pressure and throbbing ache by rinsing your mouth with with water mixed with salt.
