Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos revealed the various projects of the provincial government in his address to the barangay captains from the third district of Bohol during the first leg of the 2021 Provincial Congress of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) on July 15, 2021, according to a report coming from the office of the vice governor.

In his speech, Relampagos highlighted several programs made by the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh).

One of the Yap-Relampagos administration’s initiatives is the strengthening of agriculture and ensuring that no one in Bohol gets hungry.

Despite being an agricultural province, tourism has become the main income generator of Bohol and this has changed due to the pandemic as the tourism industry is heavily impacted by the travel and entry restrictions.

The Vice Governor stressed that the provincial government is actively working to improve food security in the province.

Relampagos also cited Gov. Arthur Yap for providing P 100,000 in assistance for waterworks projects in each barangay in the province.

According to Relampagos, Yap is the first Bohol governor to provide funding for barangay waterworks projects.
