Candijay town will be getting a new police station building

Candijay town will soon be getting a new police station building, which is worth P10 million, according to reports released today, July 28, 2021.

The report mentions that the completion of the construction of the new police station building is expected before the end of this year.

The new police station building is located in barangay Poblacion, behind the public market.

Candijay mayor Christopher Tutor and Cong. Kristine Alexie Tutor led the groundbreaking ceremonies for the new police station building on July 27, 2021.

The budget for the said new police station building is sourced from the 2021 national budget, according to the same report.

The construction of the new police station building is a convergence program among the local government unit of Candijay, the Philippine National Police and the Department of Public Works and Highways.

For his part, Tutor; during the groundbreaking event, reminded the personnel of Candijay police to remain faithful in their duty to maintain peace and order in the community.
