City gov’t bares new vaccination sked for city-based workers

Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap revealed the vaccination schedule for city-based workers but who are non-residents of the city. This is an undertaking that will be conducted in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Bohol, according to reports released on July 28, 2021.

The mayor said that non Tagbilaran residents who works for companies based in the city can be vaccinated here in the city and they need to bring their company IDs or certificate of employment to the vaccination site.

The mayor added that the inoculation schedule for city workers is from August 2 to 5 at the Bool Elementary School. The vaccination activity will start at 8 am and end at 5 in the afternoon, the mayor bared.

Among those who may get vaccinated are tricycle drivers, multicab drivers, delivery riders, security guards, and hotel and restaurant workers among others, according to the mayor.

Other workers who are eligible to be inoculated are market vendors, carenderia staff, hospital workers, pharmacy workers, caregivers, dialysis center workers, and workers from pawnshops, dental clinics, money transfer firms, funeral parlors and telecommunications companies.

Meanwhile, the vaccination rollout for Tagbilaran residents who belong to the A1, A2, A3 and A4 priority groups will resume on August 2 to 5, 2021 at the City College, Booy covered court, and Dao Elementary School from 8am to 5 pm, the mayor said.

Tagbilaran residents only need to present a barangay certificate or an ID indicating a Tagbilaran address so they can get inoculated using the available vaccine supply.
