Bohol remains under MGCQ

Bohol remains under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) following the release of the quarantine classification of every part of the nation, which was contained in a statement by Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

According to the statement, President Duterte approved the recommendation of the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) for the quarantine classification of different areas in the country.

Bohol has been under MGCQ since last year. The MGCQ is the least restrictive level of community quarantine, the reports bare.

Bohol remains under MGCQ from August 1 to 31, 2021, the reports add.

The areas of Iloilo City, Iloilo province, Cagayan de Oro and Gingoog City are under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from August 1 until August 7, 2021. The ECQ classification is the strictest level of community quarantine.

Moreover, the localities of Ilocos Norte, Bataan, Lapu-Lapu City and Mandaue City are under modified ECQ starting on August 1 to 15, 2021.

The same report said that Metro Manila is under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions from August 1 until August 15, 2021. Other places under the same quarantine classification are Ilocos Sur, Cagayan, Bulacan, Laguna, Lucena, Cavite, Rizal, Naga City in Camarines Sur, Antique, Aklan, Bacolod, Capiz, Negros Oriental, Zamboanga del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Davao City, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, Davao Occidental, and Butuan City.

On the other hand, the areas of Baguio City, Apayao, Santiago City, Nueva Viscaya, Quirino, Quezon province, Batangas, Puerto Princesa, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, General Santos City, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, North Cotabato, and South Cotabato, Agusan  del Norte, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Sur and Cotabato City are under GCQ starting on August 1 until August 31, 2021.
