Guv attends DILG’s Dagyawan program rollout in Catigbian, Tubigon

Gov. Arthur Yap attended the rollout of the Dagyawan sa Barangay program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in the towns of Catigbian and Tubigon over the weekend, according to a report from the Provincial Information and Media Relations (PRIMER) released today, July 26, 2021.

The governor also brought with him the HEART Caravan in barangay Maitum, Catigbian town to extend government services to the residents of the said area.

Personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) were also present during the conduct of the HEART Caravan where hygiene kits were distributed.

On the other hand, the governor visited Tubigon where he met some barangay captains of the said town.

The barangay captains each received P25,000 as cash aid coming from the provincial government.

Displaced tourism workers from Tubigon also each received financial assistance coming from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Tourism.
