AGE IS JUST A NUMBER. The saying is proven when the the Provincial Government of Bohol led by Governor Arthur Yap together with teamINABANGA represented by Sangguniang Bayan Member Jono Jumamoy, held the distribution of ₱100,000 cash benefit each to 101-year old Lola Asuncion Vistal of barangatly Maria Rosario, Inabanga (photo 1), 102-year old Lolo Anselmo Aparece of barangay Dait Sur, Inabanga (photo 2) and 103-year old Lolo Gaudencio Divinagracia of barangay Liloan Norte, Inabanga (photo 3) on July 26, 2021 in their respective barangays. The said benefit is given in recognition of their exemplary achievements and contributions to the community and the incentives are funded by the provincial government in line with its provincial ordinance and on top of the cash benefit for centenarians coming from the national government, which is mandated by Republic Act 10868, also known as the Centenarian Act of 2016. Witnessing the milestones are former Board Member (BM) Capt. Jaja Jumamoy, BM Mimi Boniel-Maglasang, Community Affairs Assistant I Floriza T. Singcol, Program Officer-Senior Citizen In-charge Zerlina M. Vasquez, Punong Barangays Edwin Vistal, Rolando Melloria and Norma Lofranco, Executive Assistant Emma Samaco and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Carmelita M. Tecson.
