Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz bagged a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics following her successful stint in the women’s 55-kg weightlifting event on Monday, July 26, 2021.
The country is in celebration after Hidilyn Diaz, the country’s representative to the women’s 55 kg category.
Diaz successfully set the Olympic record by lifting a total of 224 kg.
