A joint operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and Tagbilaran police arrested a drug suspect following a drug buy bust operation on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, according to police report released today, Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021.
Reports say that police arrested a certain Alfred Bolacoy, 25, of barangay Dao, Tagbilaran City.
The drug suspect’s arrest came following the conduct of a drug buy bust operation on Tuesday afternoon at barangay Taloto.
Upon sensing that he was transacting with law enforcers, Bolacoy immediately rode on a motorcycle to escape, reports bare.
However, Bolacoy’s motorcycle collided with a tricycle, which gave the law enforcers the opportunity to arrest the suspect.
The suspect was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment following the accident.
Reports reveal that the authorities seized about 2 grams of suspected shabu, which is worth P13,000.
Police is set to file charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
