Mayor John Geesnell Yap announced on Aug. 4, 2021, that the City Government launches vaccination buses that will serve the senior citizens and persons with disability (PWD).
In a post, Yap said the buses will be dispatched to serve senior citizens and PWD who are unable to visit the various vaccination sites in the city.
The mayor said those who want to avail themselves of this service may call Zera at 09073931492.
Meanwhile, the mayor said that around 2,472 individuals were vaccinated on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021 alone.
He said as early as 6am, there was no line outside the vaccination centers because those who are not eligible to get vaccinated did not bother to visit the centers as they already know they would not be entertained.
Yap said that the vaccination rollout will continue on Aug. 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
The vaccination rollout is being done in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Bohol led by Gov Art Yap, the mayor said.
