Police seized around P170,000 worth of suspected shabu following a buy bust operation on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, a police report released on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021 says.
The police said that they arrested the suspect identified as a certain Vergel Navea, 25, of barangay Booy, Tagbilaran City.
According to City Drug Enforcement Team (CDET) head Lt. Agosto Cesario Sumaylo, the suspect is identified as a street level individual (SLI).
Reports say that the police conducted a buy bust operation on Saturday at barangay Manga.
An undercover police engaged in a transaction with the suspect as the latter was arrested after allegedly turning over a drug suspected to be shabu.
Police confiscated around 25 grams of suspected shabu allegedly from the suspect.
The suspect faces charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
