Bohol Educational Grant scholars receive financial aid

Gov. Arthur Yap on Aug. 10, 2021, distributed financial aid to the beneficiaries of the province’s Educational Grant, according to information from the Provincial Information and Media Relations (PRIMER), in a report released on Aug. 11, 2021.

In his speech during the event, Yap said that it is important to invest on the youth in order to assure a brighter future for them.

The governor stressed the importance of having an education as he urged the youth to complete their studies.

As this developed, Yap said the provincial government will continue to support the education of poor but deserving students of Bohol through scholarship programs.

Around 55 beneficiaries from the towns of Bilar, Pilar, Sierra Bullones, Loboc and Sevilla received financial aid worth P3,500 each.

Meanwhile, Yap met with Calape barangay officials at the Capitol also on Aug. 10, 2021. The governor turned over the annual financial assistance of the provincial government to the barangays worth P25,000 each.

The governor thanked the dedication and service of the barangay officials of Calape during the meeting, the PRIMER report says.
