Fire probers are still investigating the cause of the fire that erupted in Booy South Elementary School on Aug. 13, 2021, according to police reports.
A police report quoted Senior Fire Officer 1 Richen Roslinda of the Tagbilaran Fire Station saying that the incident is being investigated upon by probers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Reports say that the fire erupted in the said school at around 10:10 am and firefighters declared fire out around 10:59 am.
No casualty was reported as a result of the incident. The damage to property was estimated to be at P1.4 million, according to the police report.
