First district board member Aldner Damalerio (in photo) stands in front of a cellsite owned by Smart Communications at barangay Hanopol, Balilihan town. Damalerio reported that the cellsite will be operational within a couple of months. The new facility will provide cellular and internet connectivity to people of the said barangay. Damalerio visited the site on Aug. 11, 2021. For her part, Balilihan mayor Pureza Chatto thanked Damalerio and Smart officials for the installation of the cellsite in the said area as the facility will vastly improve the communications signal that will boost efforts in peace and security, trade and tourism among others.
