Bohol received late night on Aug. 26, 2021, around 29,060 doses of vaccines from the National Vaccine Operations Center (NVOC), according to Provincial Administrator Kathyrin Pioquinto.
Pioquinto bared the development during the regular virtual press conference at the Capitol today, Aug. 27, 2021.
She said that Bohol received around 11, 700 doses of Pfizer vaccine doses from Cebu at around 11:30 pm on Thursday last night.
These vaccines will be used for the second dose of those who received the Pfizer vaccine as their first shot, Pioquinto revealed.
Moreover, at least 9,360 vaccines made by Pfizer also arrived in the province last night and will be administered to 4,680 persons.
Likewise, Pioquinto said that 4,000 doses of Moderna vaccines also arrived here that will be given to 2,000 Boholanos.
The provincial administrator said that Bohol was given 4,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines, too.
Meanwhile, Pioquinto mentioned during the press conference that Inter Agency Task Force deputy chief implementor Sec. Vince Dizon told Gov. Arthur Yap, that Bohol can set a daily goal to inoculate as many as 14,500 persons a day.
This comes as Dizon assured Yap of enough vaccine supplies to achieve the daily goal, Pioquinto added.
