Gov. Arthur Yap issued Executive Order (EO) 42 lifting the border control in Bohol and reimposing the partial liquor ban in the province.
The governor signed the latest EO ending speculations about the status of the border control where non essential air and sea travels were disallowed.
The new EO will take effect on Sept. 1, 2021 at 12:01 am and will remain in effect until further notice, according to the said EO.
With the new EO, non-authorized persons outside of residence (APOR) shall be allowed entry into Bohol as long as they submit a negative real time-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test result taken 72 hours prior to arrival.
Upon arrival, these persons shall be subjected to a quarantine for 5 days in a quarantine facility of the local government unit (LGU) or an accredited accommodation facility or private facility/home with separate toilet and bath.
On the fifth day, the non-APOR shall be subjected to a re-swab and will be allowed to go home after yielding a negative RT-PCR test.
Certain stipulations of EO 37 applicable to APOR shall remain in effect, the new EO says.
Meanwhile, EO 42 reimposes the partial liquor ban in Bohol.
This means, alcoholic drinks may only be consumed inside one’s residence and only among the dwellers of such residence. Those who are intoxicated may not leave the house or to go to public places.
