Catigbian mayor Elizabeth Mandin (inset) reports that personnel from the local government unit (LGU) of Catigbian conducted a three-day workshop in relation to the devolution plans based on the Supreme Court’s Mandanas Ruling.The plan aims to mitigate the fiscal impact of the ruling with due consideration to the provisions of the Local Government Code and other special laws. Moreover, the it was announced that the town finalized the LGU’s Annual Investment Plan during the said workshop that ran from Aug. 25 to 27, 2021. The participants were composed of department and division heads and Sangguniang Bayan members. The LGU also formulated the Human Resource Development Plan related to organizational structure and staffing pattern for 2022-2026.
