The total number of Coronavirus disease (Covid) deaths in Bohol has reached 310, according to the report from the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) of the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF), as of 8 am Sept. 6, 2021.

The same report also revealed that there are 2,045 active cases in the province as of Monday morning.

The report also mentioned that there are about 11,817 recoveries from Covid since last year.

Tagbilaran City remains the locality with the highest number of active cases with 303.

The other localities with high number of Covid cases are Ubay with 95 cases, San Miguel with 92 cases, Dauis with 83, and Danao with 83 cases.

As this developed, the BIATF already reached out to mayors during a meeting on Sept. 4, 2021 for a possibility of placing the province under a stricter quarantine restriction.

The mayors and the BIATF will be meeting any time this week to discuss the possibility of implementing stricter quarantine restrictions, reports say.
