The Green Cross “Show Me Your Vax Card, Get Rewards” e-Raffle Promo at Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, Alta Citta, Plaza Marcela, Alturas-Talibon, and Alturas-Tubigon is a part of the government efforts to let everyone get vaccinated, as the Philippines is struggling with vaccine hesitancy in the face of the CoViD-19 pandemic.

According to a survey by Social Weather Stations, only 32 percent of adult Filipinos were willing to get vaccinated, expressing varying degrees of confidence in the vaccine program. With this lack of confidence, dreams of reaching herd immunity in a reasonable amount of time can be put to the back-burner.

Jollibee-Panglao turns 1

Even in the midst of the pandemic, Jollibee still managed to open a year ago, September 16, its 1,181st store right in the heart of the tourist island of Panglao, marking its 1st Anniversary last Thursday.

Located in Alona, along the circumferential road in Brgy. Tawala, Panglao, Jollibee-Panglao continues to serve its customers the signature langhap sarap goodness, spreading positivity despite the severity of the health and economic crisis we are facing today, according to Jollibee Bohol managing director, Mrs. Nancy Doydora.

Jollibee-Panglao is the 7th store here in Bohol, and the second outside Tagbilaran City, after Jollibee-Alturas in Talibon. The other Jollibee stores in the city are at Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, Alta Citta Mall, Plaza Marcela, and the CPG Drive-thru.

Jollibee-Panglao opens from 7 am to 7 pm. For the safety and well-being of everyone, the store always strictly enforce health protocols, especially on maintaining social distancing, the wearing of face masks or face shields for both customers and employees/staff, and the constant sanitation and disinfection inside and outside the premises.

Mrs. Doydora also said that at Jollibee-Panglao, customers can dine-in or order take out conveniently using the new self-ordering kiosk (SOK), a touch screen menu board designed to keep customers avoid the long queues. Jollibee has been investing heavily on innovation and digital technology just to keep customers comfortably, like the SOK where they can pay their orders easily and efficiently at the machine using their credit or debit cards, or settle the bill with cash at the counter.

Another new system adopted by the store is the “Pay and Claim” scheme which is all for comfort and satisfaction of customers. It further enhances the fastfood experience as it brings the joy and convenience of paying and claiming the order easy and hassle free.
