Edgar Chatto (2nd from left) and Board Member Ricky Masamayor (extreme left) during the inauguration of the Eskwela  E-Hub at the Balilihan Municipal Library The E- Hub is an educational center aimed at supporting the needed  facilities for online classes and other needs related to the blended learning system.  Furthermore, the E-Hub was made possible through the efforts of Cong. Ong. The E-Hub has 4 computer sets and printer and initial supply of printing materials  which are donated to the local government unit of Balilihan by Couples for Christ who are responding to the  Cry of the Poor, a duly licensed and accredited social welfare agency by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Balilhan mayor Pureza Chatto inspects a food product including its neat packaging through the help of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). Around 5 Balilihan food handlers are recipients of DOST program providing assistance  on food packaging. The DOST designed customized labels and stickers for their suman, toron, puto bulanghoy, puto bibingka, suman bulanghoy products. With an improved packaging, the food handliers are able to better market the “Balilihan Kinaham” snack foods that the town is famous for.  The mayor had the opportunity to meet the DOST team on Sept. 16, 2021.
