Balilihan mayor Pureza Chatto (in photo) bares that 28 micro business entrepreneurs in the said town received livelihood assistance from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Each entrepreneur was able to get P8,000 worth of coupons. The coupons can be used to buy supplies, equipment, and other materials needed to boost his/her businesses. The beneficiaries who were identified and validated by DTI personnel themselves included food handlers, sari-sari store owners, fish vendors, and the like.
