Reports indicated that 2nd district solon Erico Aristotle Aumentado is indeed running for governor.
Moreover, his camp has already a preliminary line-up for board members and district representatives.
Aumentado will be pitted against incumbent Gov. Arthur Yap who is seeking reelection.
Furthermore, there is no indication who is the frontrunner as Aumentado’s possible running mate, as of the moment.
Reports bare that Aumentado’s camp released some names running for board member.
In the first district, incumbent Board Member Lucille Lagunay, Goldie Herrera, and Leah Tirol are expected to file and run for board member.
In the second district, former Board Member Tomas Abapo and Amon Tirol are expected to throw their hats in the board members’ race.
Aumentado’s third district board member slate includes incumbent Board Member Victor Balite, Garcia-Hernandez mayor Tita Baja, Loboc vice mayor Pableo Sumampong, and Greg Jala.
Aumentado’s wife Vanessa will be running as 2nd district congressman.
3rd district solon Kristine Alexie Tutor will run for reelection under the Aumentado camp.
Meanwhile, Yap will be having Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos as his running mate.
Initial reports say that Padayon Bol-anon will be backing incumbent 1st district Cong. Edgar Chatto, former Board Member Jaja Jumamoy as the bet for 2nd district congressman and Valencia mayor Katrina Lim will be the coalition’s candidate as representative for the 3rd district.
