A team composed of personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Panglao police arrested 2 drug suspects following a drug buy bust operation, reports say.
The PDEA-identified the two suspects as Romel Gulayan, 40, a construction worker, of Villa Arcayo, Carmen, Bohol and currently residing at Handig, Loon and Jomar Bongo, 23, unemployed, of Tawala, Panglao.
The duo were arrested at 7:55 p.m. on Friday, Oct 1, 2021, after selling suspected shabu, to an undercover dop.
Seized during the operation were one piece large pack heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with a value of P 340,000.
Police are set to file charges of violation of Sec 5 in relation to Section 26 Art II of Republic Act 9165 in court, reports say.
