Tagbilaran Vehicle Inspection Center (TaVIC) is offering huge discounts to public utility vehicle (PUV) operators with its new rates for tricycles, multicabs and jeepneys.
According to TaVIC’s top officer John Allison Uy, the new inspection rate for PUVs is only P300, instead of P600.
But wait, there’s more. PUVs get a special lane only for them if they come for inspection on Saturdays.
This way, their vehicles can get inspected right away and they can go back to plying their routes immediately.
