Some Bol-anon bets file CoC

Some Padayon Bol-anon bets filed their certificate of candidacy (CoC) on Oct. 5, 2021, reports say.

Gov. Arthur Yap and Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos filed their respective CoCs around 10:30 am on Tuesday, according to Kevin Damalerio, an executive assistant of the governor.

The duo is seeking reelection. Yap is poised to go up against incumbent 2nd dist. Cong. Erico Aristotle Aumentado.

As of this writing, Relampagos has no clear opponent.

Moreover, first district Cong. Edgar Chatto also filed his CoC, as he seeks reelection.

Furthermore, Valencia mayor Katrina Lim also filed her CoC, as she is running for third district representative.

Another aspirant for the 2nd district congressional seat is former Board Member Jovanna Jumamoy. She filed her CoC on Tuesday, according to Damalerio.

For board members, Mimi Boniel-Maglasang and Agapito Avenido of the 2nd district, as well as, Elpidio Bonita of the 3rd district filed their respective CoCs.

According to Board Member Ricky Masamayor, other candidates under Padayon Bol-anon in the provincial level will be filing their respective CoCs on Oct. 8, 2021.
