Incumbent Buenavista mayor Dave Duallo and companions filed their respective certificate of candidacy (CoC) on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021.
In a telephone interview, Duallo confirmed the report that he and his running mate Elsa Daka Tirol, filed their CoC.
Tirol is running for vice mayor under the Team DaBu slate of Duallo.
“For the second time, I am offering my self to serve my beloved town of Buenavista and my beloved Buenavistahanons,” Duallo said in a Facebook post.
Duallo is seeking a second term under the banner of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) which is led in the province by 2nd district Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado.
Other members of Duallo’s slate are: Alicia Lopez, Rena Sotto Erojo, Rey Celocia, Samuel Aparece, Ralph Walden Celocia, George Otso Bentillo, Pompey Bautista, and Ranulfo Anedez.
They are running for seats in the Sangguniang Bayan, according to Duallo.
