Arrested alleged repa reseller posts bail

The alleged repa reseller who was arrested by the elements of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)-Bohol on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, was able to post bail on Monday afternoon, Oct. 18, 2021, according to reports.

The NBI filed estafa and violation cases of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Code against Shara Mae Ancog, 32. Ancog was able to post bail amounting to P156, 000, reports say.

As this developed, Ancog will file a complaint against her “administrator” who allegedly siphoned her buyer’s funds.

It can be recalled that Ancog was arrested on Saturday via an entrapment operation by the NBI.

Ancog promised investors that their investment of P24,000 would yield P30,000.

She was selling slots even if the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) already said that the REPA SCHEME is illegal.

NBI-Bohol chief Joel Ayop said Ancog pointed a certain Ma. Claudia Talatayod, as the alleged administrator.

Reports add that Talatayod was also charged with estafa and violation of the SEC code.

Talatayod was not present during the entrapment operation by the NBI that led to the arrest of Ancog.

In her video message posted on Facebook, Talatayod questioned the legality of the NBI’s operation when the authorities went to her “territory”.

In the same video message, she maintained her innocence saying she has done nothing wrong.
