The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) helmed by Gov. Arthur Yap (right photo, standing at left) and the Bohol Public Employment Services Office (PESO), which is headed by Vilma Yorong (right photo, standing to the left of Yap), are declared as the regional winners of the Secretary’s Bayanihan Service Award – 1st Class Province Category. The inscription on the Plaque of Recognition (left photo) says: This plaque of recognition is awarded to the Provincial Government of Bohol’s PESO through its Local Chief Executive,Governor Arthur C. Yap, and its PESO Manager, MS. MARIA VILMA C. YORONG as Regional Winner of the Secretary’s Bayanihan Service Award – 1st Class Province Category in recognition of its untiring support in ensuring continuous Implementation of DOLE’s employment facilitation programs and services with Innovation and resilience, and for providing exemplary humanitarian services to its constituents during the height of the challenging crisis. As a regional winner, the Bohol Provincial PESO represented REPESOM 7 in the National search for the Secretary’s Bayanihan Service Award under the 1st Class Province Category.
