All is set for probably the last visit in Bohol of President Duterte as chief executive of the country, which is scheduled in the afternoon of Oct. 29, 2021, as presidential aspirant Sen. Manny Pacquiao is slated to arrive here also this afternoon.
Barring any last minute changes, the president will be arriving anytime this afternoon for a program at the Tagbilaran Tourist Seaport around 4 pm.
Duterte is expected to lead the simultaneous inauguration of port projects in different towns in Bohol worth P7.2 billion.
Arriving here with the president are Transportation Sec. Arthur Tugade, Philippine Ports Authority general manager Jay Daniel Santiago, and several key personalities from the Department of Transportation (DoTR), according to reports.
Several local officials of the province, city and from the various municipalities are expected to attend the program at the Tagbilaran Tourist Seaport.
As this developed, former Panglao mayor Doloreich Dumaluan said that Pacquiao is definitely arriving also in the afternoon of Oct. 29, 2021.
However, he said that Pacquiao’s itinerary remains uncertain as of posting time due to security reasons.
The former mayor of Panglao town said in a telephone interview on Oct. 29, 2021, that the senator who is aspiring to become the next president of the country, will be visiting Panglao and will have several engagements with people from Bohol.
