Cong. Erico Aristotle Aumentado (in photo), poses beside an information board about the P3.1 billion Leyte-Bohol Interconnection Project (LBIP). According to the office of Cong. Aumentado, the solon will push for the rehabilitation of the LBIP once he gets elected as governor of Bohol. This way, he said, Bohol will get a steady supply of power. Moreover, he is working on another mega project of his late father and namesake former governor and congressman Erico Boyles Aumentado, which is the P4.134 billion Bohol Northeast Basin Multipurpose Dam Project. The project is estimated to irrigate about 19,000 hectares of rice field in the towns of Danao, Dagohoy, San Miguel, Trinidad, Bien Unido, and Ubay all in the 2nd district of Bohol. The proposed dam is eyed to generate 10 megawatts of power. The said proposed dam will help in flood control, agri-tourism and community development and livelihood and a source of potable water at the far flung areas.
