Discussions on water projects dominated the meeting among Gov. Arthur Yap, German envoy to the Philippines Anke Reiffenstuel, and her husband, German ambassador to South Korea Michael Reiffenstuel, Ambassador of Germany to Korea in a dinner meeting Wednesday night, Oct. 27, 2021, according to report by the Provincial Information and Media Relations Office (PRIMER) released on Oct. 27, 2021.
They exchanged thoughts on the different water projects the administration is prioritizing to help strengthen food security as well as boost the province’s economy.
Joining the three personalities were Maica Teves of SPARK Philippines, Bohol’s Chocolate Princess Dalareich Polot, lawyer John Titus Vistal of the Provincial Planning and Development Office and Jovencia Ganub of the Bohol Environment Management Office, the report adds.
Yap thanked their gracious host for the evening, Vickie Wallace of the Bohol Bee Farm.
The Yap administration has been pushing its agenda of strengthening water projects in the province, PRIMER said.
Since the start of his administration, Yap has been releasing funds to the various local government units and barangays so they can start water projects to ensure their respective localities’ water supply and eventually help support a more robust agriculture sector.
