SP welcomes German envoy to Bohol

Vice Governor Rene Lopez Relampagos led the  members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol (SP) in welcoming the German Ambassador to the Philippines, Anke Reiffenstuel, during her courtesy visit on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, according to reports.

The envoy visited the province to attend important activities and for a tour of Bohol.

According to Relampagos, he was very honored to have met Reiffenstuel during the pre-session meeting so that he could present the SP’s procedures on how it conducts its regular session as the province ‘s law making body to address matters that benefit the Boholano constituents.

Likewise, Relampagos introduced all the members of the SP  to the envoy.

In her short message, Reiffenstuel was pleased to have visited the SP where she learned a lot from her engagement, according to her.

She expressed her willingness to help  Bohol as it faces challenges brought about by the pandemic.

“I have many reasons to come back here to explore the islands, the Philippines, especially in Bohol that has so much to offer and has a huge potential. Traveling in the country is also a way to learn better about the culture of the Filipino people, as well as to explore the potential of the country for economic relations from the tourism industry and to have business relations,” she said.

Meanwhile, Reiffenstuel was pleased to know that the vaccination program is progressing very well in Bohol and at the end of her message, she thanked everybody because she learned a lot from her travel in the Philippines and in Bohol.
