STRENGTHENING LOCAL AGRI PROGRAMS. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 1) together with Municipal Agriculturist Genaro Logroño led the distribution of NSIC Rc 222 & 408 inbred rice to 166 Inabangnon farmers (photo 2) on October 26, 2021 at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall and Inabanga Gym. During the event, the lady mayor expressed her gratitude to the farmers(photo 3). They were split into several batches during the video conferencing (to conform to the guidelines on physical distancing), for their contribution to the local agricultural sector. A day after, Sangguniang Bayan Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 4) together with all SB Members and the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation Ubay Extension Office took  the lead in the distribution of  ₱771,186 indemnity checks to 94 local farmers (photo 5) for their damaged crops, farm animals and life insurance of two deceased beneficiary farmers. Said agricultural programs are fully supported and endorsed by teamINABANGA in partnership with the Bohol provincial government led by Gov. Arthur C. Yap and Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos under its Rice Exchange Program to help the farmers, boost their harvests, cushion the effect of pandemic and augment their income in these trying times.
