John Vergel and Ma. Lourdes first met in 2016 during their studies at the University of Bohol. They became friends, close friends, lovers, and finally as the October 23, 2021 bride and and groom.
Let us talk first about the bride. She is Ma. Lourdes Ito from Jagna, Bohol. She is the daughter of Rodolfo Ito & the late Conchita Ito. The bride is a businesswoman.
Her groom is John Vergel Tasong from Cortes, Bohol. John Vergel is the eldest of the three siblings of Virgilio Tasong & Ferly Tasong. John Vergel is an Airport Security Assistant and has been connected with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
The John Vergel-Ma. Lourdes wedding ceremony started at 2:00 in the afternoon of October 23 at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church in Jagna, Bohol with Rev. Fr. Vincent Rey Lofranco as the main celebrant.
The wedding banquet/reception program was held at Lenny’s Restaurant in Jagna, Bohol, too. Suppliers who contributed a lot to the success of the wedding celebration included the following: John Rey Rodriguez and his team as the photo and video providers; Fingertips Florals of Dario Golosinda as florist; Jay Ryan Balasabas & his team for the hair & make-up; PYM Jagna as the church choir, Cake Avenue for the wedding cake, Ma. Feneth Balistoy for the Dessert buffet and Emily Micabani as the outfit provider.“SMILE”, Philippines performed the role of the on-the-day wedding coordinator with Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta as the church commentator and master of ceremonies.
