Second district Rep. Erico Aris Aumentado on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 revealed that he facilitated the allocation of funds at the Department of Health (DOH) for a free real time-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test for Boholano locally stranded individuals (LSI) who want to return home, according to a statement released on the solon’s social media account.
“Gagahin ta ug pondo sa DOH para sa atong kaigsoonang Bol-anon aron ma libre ang mga LSI sa Cebu sa RT-PCR Test para maghatag ug gamay nga kahupay kanila,” Aumentado said in a statement.
Boholano LSIs have pointed out of costly priced RT-PCR tests in Cebu, reports say.
Reports add that the test’s cost ranges from P1,500 to P5,000 per person on the average.
According to other reports, Boholano LSIs can avail themselves of free RT-PCR tests at the DOH Regional Office Swabbing Center located along Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City.
“Open kini Monday-Sunday or kada adlaw from 8am to 11am. Ang resulta ma-available after 24-48 hours. Before moadto, kindly contact staff Richel (0995) 703 1916 aron ma submit ang inyong information aron ma arrange daan ang inyong schedule para mas dali ang processo inig abot sa Swabbing Center,” the solon said.
The person availing himself or herself of the test should bring an identification card and text Richel the person’s name, birthdate, address in Cebu, address in Bohol, contact number, and email address.
The person who is availing himself/herself of the free service at the swabbing center needs to look for Ms Che, reports bare.
