Police arrested a wanted rape suspect on Oct. 30, 2021, according to reports released today, Nov. 1, 2021.
The police identified the suspect as Jeson Galero, 42, of barangay Bayong, Pilar town. He is considered as the number 1 most wanted person in the said town.
Local Pilar police together with elements of the Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 7 arrested the suspect who is facing 2 counts of rape, reports say.
The police was armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Adonis Laure of Regional Trial Court branch 51 based in Carmen town, and dated Oct. 26, 2021.
The report added that no bail was recommended for the temporary liberty of the suspect.
The suspect is currently detained at the Pilar police station’s detention facility.
