Guv turns over 1 pumpboat each to Dauis, Panglao

Gov. Arthur Yap has turned over one pumpboat each to barangay Bingag in Dauis and barangay Tawala in Panglao on Nov. 7, 2021, according to reports from the Provincial Information and Media Relations (PRIMER).

Bingag barangay captain Jose Rey Bomediano and Tawala barangay captain Rudy Amarante each received a pumpboat from the provincial government.

The pumboats were donated by the provincial government for the livelihood of fishermen of the said barangays.

This will also be used for services in the protection of fish sanctuaries.

Meanwhile, also on Nov. 7, 2021, Yap attended the inauguration of roads located in Poblacion, Catigbian, namely: Rizal, Causwagan, San Isidro Roads and Ambuan,

Sagasa roads in Balilihan, the report bares.

The construction of these provincial roads were funded from the 20 percent

Provincial Development Fund, the PRIMER says.

The governor said that the new roads can help bring progress and development in these towns located in the first district of Bohol.
