2nd Wedding Anniversary
On October 18, 2021, a columnist of The Bohol Tribune and his wife, celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary.
Let us have a look at their wedding celebration two (2) years ago.
Friday, October 18, 2019 – is marked as one of the biggest and most memorable days in the life of Atty. Julius Gregory Delgado and Atty. Marie Nickie Bolos, both successful practitioners in the legal profession.
It was on this day when both tied the knot as husband and wife during church ceremonies held at Our Lady of Assumption Shrine Parish, Dauis, Bohol – the town where the bride comes from.
The main celebrant and homilist of the Greg-Nickie wedding rites was Rev. Fr. Cris Robert Cellan with Rev. Fr. Desiderio Magdoza & Rev. Fr. Benjie Notarte as the concelebrants.
The bride, Marie Nickie Bolos, is the daughter of Nicasio Bolos Jr. (+) & Ma. Victoria Bolos. Presently, Nickie is a successful practicing lawyer and hopes to be a member of the Dauis Sangguniang Bayan as she already filed her certificate of candidacy for the position of town councilor.
The groom is Julius Greg Delgado, from Tubigon, Bohol. He is the son of Engr. Teofanes Delgado & Leonor Delgado (+). Greg is also a lawyer and aside from his varied assignments, he is actively involved in handling legal cases of top government officials of the province. His stint with a company led by no less than Atty. Gilberto Eduardo Gerardo Teodoro Jr. is a big mark in his career. Other distinct positions handled by Atty. Greg, include, among others, the following: Co-Founder and President at Actifit Platinum Gym- Tubigon and former Senior Associate at Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia and the Villaraza Cruz Marcelo & Angangco (CVCLAW) law offices.
Atty. Greg took up his law studies at the Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City and became a member of the Philippine Bar on a “take one” status. He studied Public Administration and Governance at University of the Philippines with flying colors. Definitely!
The Delgado – Bolos wedding banquet, held at the Bohol Beach Club at Panglao Island, had Nog Bernido and his “Superseven” capturing the happy moments on video and still shots.
Atty. Elmar Galacio, one of the mentors of Atty. Greg, and Sylvia Ceniza, the aunt & godmother of Atty. Nickie, shared their words of congratulations and well-wishes with the groom and the bride.
During the reception program, Engr. Teofanes Delgado, the father of Atty. Greg and Mrs. Ma. Victoria Bolos, the mother of Atty Nickie, spoke eloquently about married life.
Aside from “SMILE”, Philippines, other service providers during the celebration were: the A & A Wedding Coordination & Planning of Angelito Antatico for the on-the-day coordination; Blue Grass Project of Michael Yu & Boy Dumadag as florists; Marian Manigque & her team for the hair & make over services; Joseph Gara & Nabela as musical entertainers; Estrella’s Bakeshop for the cake & dessert station; Nyaman for the photo booth; Melissa Cipres as the violinist; Mackie Pro for the lights & sound system; and Alma Mida Golosino & Company representing the church choir.
Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta of “SMILE”, Philippines was the church mass commentator and banquet program master of ceremonies.
After the wedding celebration, both Atty. Greg and Atty. Nickie went to Europe for their honeymoon.
