The Basta Bol-anon Marcos (BBM) movement released an announcement addressed to its members and volunteers urging them to work towards achieving victory of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard bearer Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
The announcement was issued by BBM chairman Cylwin Bomediano and a copy was provided to The Bohol Tribune on Nov. 16, 2021.
“Now that much of the hullabaloo and excitement of the November 15, 2021 deadline for substitution are finally over and all national candidates appear to be in place, the dust appears to have settled and we can finally buckle down to work for our preferred national candidates: BONGBONG MARCOS (BBM) for PRESIDENT and SARA DUTERTE CARPIO for VICE-PRESIDENT for the 2022 ELECTIONS,” Bomediano said in the announcement.
He added, “We therefore call on ALL the COORDINATORS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THE BASTA BOL-ANON MOVEMENT (BBM) to continue to unite and join forces as we exert efforts towards the victory of our beloved candidates Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and Sara Duterte-Carpio.”
Bomediano advised the members and volunteers of the movement to “Please keep posted for additional announcements and notices from the BBM Core group.”
The BBM movement is a Bohol-based volunteer group dedicated to campaign and support the aspirations of Marcos and Duterte-Carpio.
On Nov. 16, 2021, presidential aspirant Marcos confirmed that he and Duterte-Carpio will run as a tandem for next year’s polls, according to reports.
Marcos made the confirmation of their tandem via a statement saying his camp and Duterte-Carpio’s team have completed the process to make the alliance official.
