Atong padayonon pagtála ang mga lugpong sa Binisaya alang sa mga sakit, apán, ug balatian nga nagsugod sa Ininglis nga “disembowel” hangtod sa “empty stomach“.

Mga Lugpong 

1. disembowel (remove the intestine) – húg-o, hindi 

2. disinfect (free from germs) – húkas, paghilo sa kágaw 

3. dislocate (as bone joints) – bílwa 

4. dissect1 (cut) – ápit 

5. dissect2 (open up) – pagbulískad 

6. distemper1 (body illness) – higwaós, hiwasa. Syn. alingása, alindasáy 

7. distemper2 (temporary disorder of the mind) – hútlok 

8. distend the eyelid1  (as sign of derision) – pikát 

9. distend the eyelid2 (open wide the eye) – bulikat 

10. distend the wound bukiki, wiwi 

11. distinguishing marktanda, ilhanan 

12. distraught1 (agitated in mind) – sípok 

13. distraught2 (sad) – masulób-on 

14. distress (sorrow) – kaguól, kasakit, kasubó 

15. divergent strabismus (both eyes turn outward) – dúlos, manókon. Ant. libát, duling (both eyes turn inward) 

16. dizzy1 (groggy) – alungaog, duóg-duóg 

17. dizzy2 (tipsy) – lípong, lilong, lambúyod

26. dress a wound1 (apply bandage) – dápli 

27. dress a wound2 (clean a wound) – húnad, gingkas, 

28. drooping eyelid (ptosis) – hiyong, hiloy 

29. dropsy1 (abnormal accumulation of serous fluid) – bulantoy, tián 

30. dropsy2 (a type of dropsy) – átay, alátay 

31. drug1 (addictive drug) – buligót, budigót, dróga (Sp.) 

32. drug2 (medicine) -tambal, druga (Sp.) 

33. drunk1 intoxicate)- hubóg, hilong, lango, bangóg, hútlok 

34. drunk2 (intoxicated by areca nut) – alan 

35. dullard (mentally dull) – kulungô. Syn. Ialà, búgo, bulók, bala 

36. dumb (mute) – amáng, mámà

37. dumb-wit (dull intellect) — búgó 

38. dunce (stupid ignorant person) – kurudób. Syn, amáw, kurúnto, kuwánggol 

39. dwarf1 (as person) – dapáldapál, alipúndok, kulitóg, pútad, ináno (Sp:), unáno (Sp.) 

40. dwarf2 (short legs only) – pútad 

41. dwarfish (like a dwarf) – purúkò, dapáldapalón, sugpoyón 

42. dwarfism (condition of arrested growth) – pagkadapáldapál. Syn. pagkaál-al, pagka-sugpóy 

43. dying (about to die) – himátyon, himalátyon, tingå 

44. dying breath (about to die) – hingutás 

45. dysentery dúdos, kalibáng og dugo. Syn. hibúlos, hibös 

46. dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation) – bulósan

50. eat sparingly2 (for lack of food) –lagútom 

51. eat sparingly1 (no desire to eat) – timîtimi, ngungúti . Syn. puasa 

52. eburnation (bone having the hardness of ivory)- bukgáring 

53. eccentric (different behavior) – balanggunô, kurukúntong 

54. ecchymosis (contusion) – bún-og, púnok, pángog. Syn. alálom 

55. ecesis (adjustment to new environment) –áda, bánsot, paandáyon, paandayon sa kalikopan. Syn. paánad 

56. echolalia (senseless repetition of words) – sabát-yawit. Syn. tagawtaw 

57. eclampsia (convulsive fit) – tupáy, sáwan. Syn. kutang 

58. ecthyma (kind of virus disease) – iksima 

59. ectopic (not properly placed) walâ mahiluna 

60. ectostosis (scab) – kugán, bungkól, kúbal 

61. eczema (skin disease) – kagid, iksíma (Eng.) 

62. edacious (voracious, given to eating) – bugarót, buhahákon, palakaón, surabán. Syn. burábog 

63. edacity (gluttony)- buhahákon, kaulit, kalaóg, hingaon 

64. edema (swelling) – húpong, búrot. Ant. kiyos, kupós 

65. edematous (bloat) – manghúpong, mamúrot 

66. effete (no virility) – duas 

67. egghead (highbrow) – singkurongón. Syn. kurukúntong 

68. egocentric akó-akó, akó-akohón, padavég 

69. egoistic siyaninhon 

70. egotist (braggart) – kágà 

71. egotistic (selfish) – siyaúnhon 

72. emaciate (thin) – bakig, kág-ang, balingkágas, kágas, hagâ, hail, higos, huyak, namióng, sag-áng. Syn, daót, hugô, lunós, niwang, sápsing, sálot, sawót, tángsà, yagpis. 

73. emasculate1 (castrate) – hibúto, hibút-an, kapón. Ant. kátli, katlian 

74. emasculate2 (deprive of vigor) – pahagå, paluyát 

75. embolism (stopping of a vein or artery by an embolus) – nabará (Sp.), nasap-ongan, nasampongán 

76. embolus (something that obstruct a blood vessel) – bará (Sp.), sámpong, nakasampong, sáp ong 

77. emetic (can produce vomiting) – makadigwà, makapadigwà, makasúka, makapasúka 

78. emphysema (distention due to air) – bútod. Syn, sándak, húpong, búrot 

79. empty stomach (as when fasting) – lagútoy. Syn. kutoy, háw-ang
