A political analyst sees a huge victory for presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

In a post on Facebook, Peter Tiu Laviña said that he sees a huge victory for the tandem of Marcos and Duterte-Carpio in the 2022 national elections.

He mentioned that the combined “votes” of the other presidential bets were lower compared to the “votes” that Marcos obtained in the 3-day Manila Bulletin survey.

He said that Marcos garnered 360,000 votes compared to the 318,400 combined total votes of other presidential aspirants.

“It appears we’re headed to a historic majority president in 2022,” Laviña said in his post on Facebook dated Nov. 22, 2021.

Tiu-Laviña was among the architects of the 2016 presidential victory of outgoing President Duterte.

As this developed, reports say that Marcos and Duterte-Carpio finally met in person in Davao City on Nov. 21, 2021.

The meeting comes a week after Duterte-Carpio filed her certificate of candidacy as the vice presidential bet of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats.

The alliance between Marcos and Duterte-Carpio was finally sealed last week, after Marcos’ party “adopted” Duterte-Carpio as its vice presidential bet.
