The local government unit (LGU) of Dauis offers free civil wedding services to those interested, according to information released by Liga ng mga Barangay-Dauis president Josever Sumaylo on Nov. 26, 2021.
Sumaylo said that the free civil wedding will be held on Dec.28, 2021.
He quipped that those who will participate will each get a wedding cake.
Furthermore, the fees for the marriage registration shall be free of charge.
Interested persons may inquire at the Dauis town hall for the requirements. They also need to register at the Local Civil Registrar and to have their names listed at the Mayor’s Office.
This offer is exclusive to Dauis residents, Sumaylo said in a text message.
