BBM movement looks for volunteers for events related to Bongbong Marcos’ campaign in Bohol

Cylwin Bomediano

Basta Bol-anon Marcos (BBM) movement chairman Cylwin Bomediano has revealed that the group he heads is looking for volunteers to help in the campaign of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

He made the revelation in an interview over Newsmakers Ug Uban Pa on Nov. 30, 2021 hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Dave Albarado.

Bomediano said that the BBM movement is currently organizing a volunteer group and urges interested individuals to apply as volunteers.

The volunteers can apply with the various municipal coordinators and also via the Facebook page of the BBM movement.

He said that any day, Marcos may visit Bohol and the local BBM movement is waiting for the exact details of the visit, which could also feature Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Duterte-Carpio is the running mate of Marcos even if the former is a member of Lakas Christian-Muslim Democrats and the latter is a member of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

Both parties together with Hugpong ng Pagbabago and Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino are members of the so-called UNITEAM coalition supporting the candidacies of Marcos and Duterte-Carpio as president and vice president, respectively.

The volunteers will also participate in some activities such as coastal clean-up drive and tree planting.

Moreover, the volunteers will be tasked chores a week, including providing assistance, to the members of the BBM movement, before Election Day, which is on May 9, 2021, Bomediano revealed in the interview.
