Tagbilaran City resumes its vaccination rollout in relation with the National Vaccination Days today, according to the spokesman of the City Health Office (CHO).

Nurse Robin Culpa of the CHO says that the city suspended the vaccine rollout in line with the National Vaccination Days yesterday to accommodate those who are slated to get their second dose of the Covid vaccine.

The National Vaccination Days started on Nov. 29 and supposedly ends yesterday, Dec. 1, 2021, per the proclamation issued by President Duterte.

All Boholanos may get vaccinated at the three leading malls in the city, Island City Mall, Alturas Mall and Bohol Quality Mall.

Culpa reported that on Nov. 30, 2021 alone, the CHO managed to inoculate 3,187 people.

He added the city is able to vaccinate a total of 6,990 persons in the two-day run of the National Vaccination Days.

The National Vaccination Days are aimed at increasing the nation’s vaccination rate and hopefully achieve herd immunity by Christmas Day.

Moreover, herd immunity, according to experts, means that there are enough people who are vaccinated against Coronavirus disease (Covid) to make virus transmission more difficult, leading to fewer cases of infection.
