About 700 families from 4 barangays in Dauis received 2 kilos of rice each from Liga ng mga Barangay-Dauis president Josever Sumaylo.
In a telephone interview on Dec. 4, 2021, Sumaylo said that he and his companions distributed 2-kilo rice packs to the families in Bingag, Catarman, Totolan and Mariveles.
The activity is part of the outreach program of Sumaylo to the different barangays of the town.
Back in Oct. 2021, Sumaylo also provided cash gifts to senior citizens in celebration of the Senior Citizens Month.
Moreover, he has been giving wheelchairs to some beneficiaries in Dauis.
Sumaylo is running for Dauis mayor in next year’s polls. He is running alongside his wife, Marietta, who is aspiring for the vice mayoralty seat.
