A UNIQUE, INSPIRING ENCOUNTER

Gov. Arthur Yap (left) engages in a conversation with a woman who uses traditional method in harvesting salt from seawater, which is practiced in some areas in Bohol, particularly in Alburquerque town. The provincial government is inspired at promoting the traditional salt making industry from the “asinan” as a tourist attraction. The governor said that it is time to promote the promising tourism attraction of Alburquerque since the town is unmistakably in its current direction to become a more established tourism site.  Photo courtesy of PRIMER.
